  • Dr. Anne Hero

Dr. Anne M. Hero was born and raised in East Africa which gave her an eclectic background and an appreciation for the world at large. As the daughter of public health missionaries, she was influenced from an early age by the impact of dental care on a patient's health and over all well being. During high school and college she spent her summers working in orphanages and missionaries where her Father was stationed, particularly in Port-au-Prince, Haiti which sparked her desire to pursue a career in dentistry.

Dr. Hero completed her undergraduate education at Fordham University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and French. She completed her dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Mass. where she earned a DMD. Dr. Hero returned to New York to attend Columbia University School of Dental Medicine Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program where she had extensive training in restorative dentistry, oral surgery and periodontics.
